Sheila Charleen Robinette

Sheila Robinette, born on February 22, 1949, and born again on January 15, 1973, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 12, 2019.  She worked at Holston Valley Medical Center administering EKGs.  Sheila was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for 46 years where she taught Sunday school, worked in the bus ministry and helped in the youth group.  In her years of declining health, she couldn’t say very much but God still used her as a witness to His saving power.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Junior and Virginia Trent; maternal grandparents, Edgar and Pearl Carter; and paternal grandparents, P.T. and Noda Trent, granddaughter, Samantha Reynolds.

Sheila is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Joe Robinette; 2 daughters, Lee Reynolds and husband, Hayter D., and Lynn Stewart and husband, Marc; son, Will Robinette and wife, Tina; 3 grandchildren, Mason Robinette, Miranda Draine, and Zachary Reynolds and wife, Savannah; and great-grandchild, Tinsley Draine.

The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Tabernacle Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Cecil Sturgill officiating.

The graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
