Sherry Dykes Murray, 35, of the Beech Creek Community went to be with the Lord Monday, February 16, 2009.
She was a loving mother, sister, and aunt.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Bud and Betty Dykes; one sister, Geneva Dykes; one brother, Kermit Dykes; and a brother-in-law, Scotty Light.
Surviving are her husband, Bobby Murray of Fall Branch; one loving daughter, Wendy Cinnamon of Rogersville; three sisters, Reba Light and husband Junior of Rogersville, Ruby Bernard and husband Dallas of Kingsport, Juanita Light of Kingsport; one brother, Stanley Dykes of Rogersville; nieces and nephews, Lisa Brewer, Jennifer McCamy, Mitzi Light, Christy Dykes, Stephanie Dykes, J. R. Light, Joey Brewer, Brittany Dykes, Dillion Dykes, LaShanda Early, Travis Dykes, Mason Bradley; and many special friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. David Morelock, Rev. Harold Morelock, and Rev. Raymond Perry officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Brewer, Ronnie Ryans, Joey Brewer, J. R. Light, Kenny Martin, and Chris Cinnamon.
