Shirley Faye Ragle Bise
Shirley Faye Ragle Bise, 78, of Mount Carmel, died Friday, January 20, 2012 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and retired from Sprint after 20 years of service.
Shirley came to know the Lord at the age of 13 at Mt. Mitchell Primitive Baptist Church. She was a member of Liberty Hill Evangelical Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Talmadge and Lelia Gentry Ragle; her husband, JC Bise 1990; a sister, Betty Pippin; and three brothers, Jim, Terry, and Gene Ragle.
Survivors include her son, Michael L. Bise and wife Ellie; two grandchildren, Justin Bise and Becky Wade; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Bethany, Jaycie, and Jentry; one sister, Elizabeth "Sis" Ragle; four brothers, Wallace Ragle, John Ragle, Gary Ragle and Larry Ragle; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12 noon on Tuesday January 24th at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Mount Carmel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation, P. O. Box 5835, Kingsport, TN 37663; or the Alzheimer Association, 207 N Boone Street, Suite 1500, Johnson City, TN 37604.
