Shirley Mae Hoggle

Our beloved Shirley Mae Hoggle, 85, of Rogersville and Kingsport TN, was born in French Camp, CA, and raised in Stockton, CA, and unexpectedly went to sit with our Lord on November 29, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She retired from Xerox Technologies. Shirley loved camping, boating, and riding the inner tube with her grandchildren and family, spending the weekend with her daughter on the beach, and listening to her husband and brother-in-law play country music with their band. She loved animals, like the cardinals and the deer grazing where she lived, and especially loved her dogs. Shirley liked to travel as often as she could and loved to eat out (and you had better get her order correct and hot, or you were going to hear about it). She was brash on the outside but had a heart of gold on the inside. Shirley was such a big presence in everyone's lives, and she will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, James Costa, Leroy Costa, Harry Costa; son, Mark Hoggle; and brother-in-law, Audie Hoggle

Shirley is survived by her husband, Edward Hoggle; daughter, Tina Jervell-Harris; grandchildren, Shane Nunes, Chance Hoggle; great-grandchildren, Tessa Nunes, Klaus Nunes, Harper Hoggle, Hunter Hoggle, Haven Hoggle; and sister, Laverne Hoggle.
