Shirley Marie "Sis" Watts

Shirley Marie "Squirrel" Watts, 50, Kingsport was called home suddenly to be in the arms of Jesus, Wednesday morning, October 26th, 2011. Shirley was born in Kingsport, where she had lived her entire life. She was an employee of Brock Services for several years, and earlier was a supervisor for KVAT Food Stores.

She was a member of Thomas Village Baptist Church, enjoyed working with her flowers and spending time with her buddy, Bandit. Shirley was an avid fan of Tennessee football but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. She was a very loving, caring, thoughtful and compassionate person, to know her was to love her.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Virginia Watts and infant brother, Charles Randall Watts.

She is survived by her brother, Lonnie Watts and wife Sheila; nieces, Jeana Estep and husband Tim, Tina Watts and husband, Kendall, and Jennifer Watts, all of Kingsport; very special great-niece, Katie Estep and great-nephew Connor Ison; her very special Aunt "Sister" JoAnn Vaughn, of Kingsport; her very favorite morning buddy "Bandit"; several uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport and at anytime at the home of her brother, Lonnie Watts, 3208 Sullivan Gardens Parkway, Kingsport, TN 37660. Services will follow with Rev. Lawrence Wolfe officiating.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 am at Powers Cemetery in Robinette Valley, Virginia. Those desiring may gather at Hamlett-Dobson at 10:00 am to go in procession. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
