Sonya Bell

Sonya Bell, 51, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018. The Lord has called our beloved daughter, sister and mother home. This beautiful vibrant soul who lived her life selflessly to make others happy is resting within his arms. We love and miss her terribly, but will see her again.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Eddie Jones, and by her maternal grandmother, Kathryn Hunter.

Sonya is survived by her mother, Brenda Willis and husband, Robert; children, Jackie Bunting and wife, Regina, Latoyia Griffith and husband, Joshua, Brenda Jones, and Autumn Jones; husband, Raymond Bell; grandchildren, Vic Jones, Jaylin Griffith, Jalaysha Jones, Joshua Griffith Jr., Seth Hicks, K'nice McKinney, Jasean Jones, Keith Jones, Zoey Jones, Jceon Jones and Budrow Jones Jr.; siblings, Darrell Pratt and wife, Mary and Anissa Kittrell and husband, Tracey; half-sisters, Bridget Jones and Erica Jones; special nephew, Tracey "T.J." Kittrell Jr; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Lester Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
