Stella B. Long, 87, of Kingsport, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at NHC Health Care in Johnson City, TN.
Stella worked at Eastman as a secretary for 14 years after attending Milligan College.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Long; and sisters, Janette Askins and Cornell Shomaker.
Survivors include daughter, Linda S. Miller and husband, Dr. Hugh A. Miller III of Johnson City; sister, Juanita Young of Decatur, GA; brother, Ralph Breeding and wife Mary, of Richmond, VA; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Double Springs Baptist Church with David Powers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association; P.O. Box 985, Kingsport, TN, 37662.
