Stephen DeWayne Cline, 56, Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Born in Detroit, MI and had resided in Kingsport most of his life. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War. Mr. Cline worked as a shoemaker.
He was a member of the Peacemakers Motorcycle Club and of the Baptist faith.
His parents, Charles and Reba Collins Cline preceded him in death.
Surviving are three daughters, Kimberly D. Cline, Church Hill, Stacy Cline, and Brooke Cline, both of Kingsport; one son, Stephen D. Cline, Jr., Kingsport; five grandchildren, Trevor Cline, Joey Cline, Dawson Cline, Tyler Cline, and Madison Stacey; one brother, Jim Flood, Colorado; his foster parents, who cared for him, Johnny and Ellen Farmer; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at noon Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Mountain Home National Cemetery with military rites conducted by the American Legion Post 3/265.
Pallbearers will be Roy Morelock, Stephen D. Cline Jr., Jeremy Jones, Dale Larkins, Jonathan Stacey, and Richie Brooks.
