Stephen O'Neil (Steve) Hashe

We sadly announce Stephen O'Neil (Steve) Hashe passed away on March 28, 2025, in Kingsport, Tennessee at the age of 87. Born on September 13, 1937 to Mr. Earl Hash and Ms. Marcus Hashe, Steve spent his early years in Morristown, TN. He served in the U.S. Air force and was stationed in far-reaching bases such as Japan and England. Once back home, he graduated from the University of Tennessee and worked at Tennessee Eastman for 30 years.

Steve and Willa Faye Howell were married in 1963 and lived in Kingsport, TN where they raised their two sons, Jeff (1966) and Bill (1969). They resided in Kingsport from 1966 till their passing where they were active members of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. Steve and Faye were married 58 years before Faye passed away in 2022. Steve loved to travel and often regaled us with stories of their many cruise adventures around the world.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and his sister Beverly Gantte.

Steve is survived by sons Jeff (Donna) and Bill (Nanda), and grandchildren Michael, Mira, David and Cayla.
