Stephen Ray Helton, 30, Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning August 23, 2008 at his home.
He was born and lived his entire life in Kingsport. He attended Sullivan North High School. He worked as a cook at various restaurants.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Silva Cloud.
Surviving are his three children, Kylie Helton and Tyler Helton, Bristol, VA, and Mikayla Helton, Kingsport; parents, Judy Cloud, Bristol, VA, and his father, Ray Helton and wife Belinda, Bridgeport, AL; his children's mothers, Leann White, Bristol, VA, and Angela Bernard, Kingsport; two brothers, Gerren Neff and Michael Neff, both of Kingsport; great-aunt, Irene Haines, Jonesborough, TN; one special aunt, Betty Sutherland; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. J. W. Depew officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Cloud's Bend Community Cemetery.
