Steve "Jack" McGaha, 75, Kingsport, passed away on Saturday May 29, 2010 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and had retired from Holliston Mills. Mr. McGaha was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a life member of the Kingsport Eagles Club.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Reda Jo McGaha; one son, Alan McGaha; grandson, Brandon McGaha; eleven brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by three daughters, Wanda McGaha of Church Hill, Tina Christian and Rick Leddington of Kingsport, and Sharon Patrick and husband David of Greeneville; two sons, Randy McGaha of Kingsport, Ronnie McGaha and wife Sarah of Mount Carmel; one granddaughter, Christina Christian; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport with Robert Cole officiating.
Burial will follow at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion Posts #3/265. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
