Steve Morelock

Steve Morelock, 57, of Blountville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at his home.

Born in Rome, GA, he had resided most of his life in Sullivan County. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Blountville & had graduated from Sullivan West High School & East Tennessee State University. Steve was a loving husband, father, papaw & brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil & Ruth Morelock; and sister, Lisa Morelock.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Morelock, Blountville; daughters, Ashley & Sara Morelock, Blountville; grandson, Cooper "Stephen" Morelock; sister, Cecilia Cox and husband, Greg of Kingsport; and nephew, Grayson Cox of Kingsport.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 29, from 5-7 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Blountville. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Clay Austin officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, March 30, at 1 p.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers.
