Sue Ella Bright

Sue Ella Bright, 79, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 20, 2019.  Sue Ella worked at Brookside Elementary and later she worked and retired from Kroger Company in 2000.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chat and Edith Graham; husbands, O.M. Johnson and Ross Bright; sons, Allen, Ray and Jackie and several brothers and sisters.

Sue Ella is survived by three daughters, Lois Hickman, Norma Casteel (Danny), and Gail Johnson; Stepson, Jack Bright (Mildred & family); grandchildren, Angel, Michael, Matthew, Pam, Tracy and Candice; Special great granddaughter, Shay; Great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Bryan, James, Mason, Colton, Jace, Jake, and Samantha; sisters, Kathy Jean Robinson (Larry), Brenda Shaffer (Wayne), and Jeannette Saul.

Pall bearers will be Michael Graham, Chad & Paul Robinson, Caleb Wallen, John Hardie and Tony Shipley.

The family will receive friends from 1 - 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.  A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rex McMurray officiating.  Burial will follow at Hermon United Methodist Cemetery, Gate City, Virginia.
