Sue Ervin Miller

Helen Sue Ervin Miller, 83, of Kingsport, passed away Tuesday, January 17th at Wellmont Hospice House following a lingering illness. A native of Scott County, she had lived in Kingsport most of her life. She was an interior decorator having worked for W.B. Green, Deels and Grindstaff Interiors. She was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Warner Ervin and Emily Gilliam Ervin.

Sue is survived by her husband, Lekah Miller; sister, Jean Davis and husband, Herman of Kingsport; brothers, Bernie Ervin and wife, Betty of Weber City, VA, Arley Ervin and wife, Okie of Weber City, VA, and Kenny Ervin and wife, Sandra of Wytheville, VA; sisters-in-law, Pat Rose of Gray, TN, Sheila Jean Poole and Judy Miller, both of Johnson City, TN; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 5-6:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm with Rev. Bob Cloud officiating.
