Sue W. Vineyard

Sue W. Vineyard, 89, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2011. She was born in Scott County, Virginia and had resided most of her life in Kingsport. Mrs. Vineyard was a member of Moore's Memorial Baptist Church, Gate City, Virginia. She retired from Eastman after 42 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Cyrus "Yank" Vineyard, parents, John and Rosa Williams; three sisters, Mamie Lee Williams, Georgia Davison and Kathleen Parks; two brothers, Jay Williams and Harry Williams.

Sue is survived by her brother, Charles Williams and wife, Joy of Mount Carmel, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 4th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. John A. Hackney and Rev. Clarence Bear officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Holston View Cemetery.
