Susan Pridemore Cole of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Asbury Place, Netherland Healthcare.
She was born on April 17, 1921 in Clinchport, Virginia and moved to Kingsport at an early age.
Susan was a member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church in Kingsport and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Susan graduated with a business degree from Radford University. She was retired from Holston Defense Corporation.
Preceding her in death were her husband, John Johnson Cole; sisters, Reba Morton and Rosalie Pridemore; and brothers, Hiram C. Pridemore and William Howard Pridemore.
Surviving are her sister, Ruth Pridemore Bachman; niece, Patsy Stygall; nephew, Larry Pridemore; and nephew-in-law, Bill Bachman.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, August 17 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Jack P. Weikel officiating. Interment will be thereafter at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Garden of Gethsemane.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the caregivers, doctors and nurses at Asbury.
