Susan Ferguson Haynes, 55, Kingsport, died Saturday night July 18, 2009 at her home.
Born in Kingsport, where she had resided all of her life, Susan had attended Dobyns-Bennett High School. She was known and loved by many people. Susan never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Pearl Ferguson.
Surviving are daughters, Janet Boyd and husband, Billy, and Cindy Haynes, both of Kingsport; grandson, Matthew Lawson Fletcher; father of Janet, Dewey Lawson, and father of Cindy, Michael Haynes; sisters, Theresa Shay of Tacoma, WA, Kathy Dingus of Kingsport, and Pamela Kilgore of Kingsport; brothers, Billy Ferguson of Kingsport, Steve Ferguson of Kingsport, Larry Ferguson of Washington State, Danny Ferguson of Washington State, Dallas Ferguson of Church Hill, and Stewart Ferguson of Kingsport.
A memorial service will be Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Bloomingdale Baptist Church with Pastor Phil Whittemore and Pastor James Hagy officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the church.
