Susan Rogers Mullins, 59, of Kingsport, died Friday morning, June 3, 2011 at Greystone Healthcare Center in Blountville.
Born in Ft. Benning, GA, Susan was a resident of Kingsport most of her life. She was a 1971 graduate of Lynn View High School. Susan was a member of Maple Oaks Gospel Mission Church and served as a volunteer for the SHARE program. She attended Salvation Army Church.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Doug and Phyllis Rogers.
Survivors include her brother, Douglas E. Rogers and wife, Marcia of Chapin, SC; nephews, Corey Rogers and wife, Sherri, Travis Rogers; aunt, Freda Correll; and several cousins.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 8, at Greystone Healthcare Center in Blountville with Rev. Elmer Lester officiating. At Susan's request her body will be donated to science.
