Tausha Hobbs, 41, of Bristol, TN, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at her home Friday morning. Tausha was born in Bristol and had lived here all of her life, graduating from Sullivan Central High School, Class of 2001. She attended Northeast State and ETSU graduating with a degree in the arts. Tausha was an employee of United Southeast Federal Credit Union, where she was a marketing and creative designer.
Tausha was a loving mother, and her children were the light of her life. Never to be one to sit still, she spent her days seeking sun, sand, and food trucks. To know her was to know love. Her contagious smile could light up any room. A friend to all, she will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Tausha was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Hobbs; daughter, Abigail Jo Campbell; and paternal grandmother, Barbara Mellons.
Tausha is survived by her fiancé, Joey Campbell; children, Amelia Mae and Sullivan Stone Campbell; mother, Missy Hobbs; siblings, Amanda Franklin and Stacie Simpson and their spouses, Josh Franklin and TJ Simpson; grandparents, Woody and Mary Jane Rush, and Howard Hobbs and wife Marilyn; nieces and nephews, Gage and Lennon Franklin and Rowen and Marlow Simpson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Ivy’s Place Venue, 5074 Bluff City Highway, Bluff City, TN 37618, on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 5:00 – 9:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at United Southeast Federal Credit Union, 1545 Bluff City Hwy. All contributions made to the account will go to the continued education and support of their children.
