Teresa Ann Copas Crawford

Teresa Ann Copas Crawford, 57, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Wellmont HolstonValley Medical Center.
Born in Kingsport on August 2, 1961, a daughter of Cleo Copas Smith of Church Hill and the late Kermit A. Copas, she had resided in this area her entire life. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed crocheting.
Teresa married Wayne Crawford on April 22, 1977. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted daughter, wife, momma, nana, and lover of the Lord and her dogs.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Hannelore Geeraert.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael A. Copas.
Teresa is survived by her husband of 41 years, Wayne Crawford; her children, Chasity Woodcock and husband, Tommy of Kingsport, Amanda Senn and husband Gabe of Kingsport, and Bobby Crawford and wife, Kim of Kingsport; 7 grandchildren, Scottie, Stephanie, Makayla, Parker, Sawyer, Madison, and Kelsey; two great-grandchildren, Finn and Kaitlynn; mother, Cleo Copas Smith of Church Hill; brothers, Donnie Copas and wife, Misty of Kingsport, and Steve Copas and wife, Karen of Kingsport; sister, Lisa Shelton and husband, Ralph of Church Hill; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Lily.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport and at other hours at the residence of her daughter, Chasity Woodcock, 2564 Lafayette Circle, Kingsport, TN. The service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Glenn McCracken officiating. Special music will be provided by McCracken Family.
The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Limestone, TN. Those attending committal services are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 9:45 a.m. on Friday and then proceed to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gabe Senn, Tommy Woodcock, Scottie Kilgore II, Michael Crawford, Joshua Crawford, and Rob Borders. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Copas and Donnie Copas.
