Teresa Ann Carpenter

Teresa Carpenter, 45, Kingsport, of the Bloomingdale Community went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Bristol Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. Teresa never met a stranger. She loved animals, children, music and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Helen Carpenter.

Teresa is survived by her sister, Cindy Carpenter of Kingsport; brother, Jeff Carpenter and wife, Robin of Kingsport; two nieces, McKenzie and Shelby Carpenter of Kingsport; uncle, Elmer Carpenter of Mooresburg, TN; and two cousins, Mike Pleasant and wife, Betty of Telford, TN, and Randy Carpenter of Mooresburg, TN.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport or at anytime at the home of her sister, Cindy. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor David Powers officiating.

The graveside service will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 am at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.

The family wishes to express their appreciation for the special care given to Teresa by the Select Specialty Hospital of Bristol Regional Medical Center, all the wonderful staff at Kingsport Hematology & Oncology, and W3 Holston Valley Medical Center.
