Teresa Jo Steadman Harper, 60, Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 28, 2013.
She belonged to First Baptist Church of Fall Branch but, she regularly attended New Fellowship Ministries in Church Hill, TN as often as her health permitted. She loved animals and enjoyed life and family to the fullest.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mescal Steadman; brother, Keith Steadman; grandparents, Joe and Bertha Steadman; grandparents, Rev. J.A. and Edith Shanks Daugherty; step-grandmother, Irene Daugherty; daughter, Mescal Irene Harper; nephews, Michael James Steadman and Blandon Kane Steadman.
She is survived by her brother, Michael Steadman and wife, Kathy; several cousins, uncles, and aunts.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Hamlett-Dobson Chapel, Fall Branch. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Victor Wallace and Rev. Carl Strickler officiating.
The graveside will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Fall Branch. Pallbearers will be Nathan Mullinex, Adam Mullinex, Jerry Crawford, Roger McAmis, Elmer Dougherty, and David Monk.
