Teresa Diane Lawson Osborne

Teresa Diane Lawson Osborne went to meet the Lord on March 30, 2011 due to an unexpected heart attack at age 56.

She was a loving wife, mother of three daughters and grandmother of five grandchildren. Teresa Diane was born and raised in Kingsport, TN by her loving parents James and Betty Lawson, both deceased. While working for Revco Drug store in Kingsport in 1976 she met and married Robert Osborne Rob, her husband of 35 years and the love of her life. Teresa, Rob and family spent 20+ years serving in the US Air Force. The family was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB, Langley AFB, Hickam AFB in Hawaii for 4 years and finally ended up at the Pentagon in Virginia where they have spent the last 23 years. Teresa's dedication and hard work served her well in the federal government where she attained the rank of GS-14+. After 1.5 years of retirement and redoing every room in the house, she got a little bored and decided to go back to work for ManTech, Inc. Teresa was there at work doing her job as always, when she was felled by the heart attack. Teresa Diane loved her family, loved life, loved to travel and always put others before herself. I/we will miss her greatly; she was my rock, my best half, and the love of my life.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Rob Osborne; children: Sandra Lanier, Tracey Rhodes and April Osborne; grandchildren: Katelyn Osborne, Ally and Tristan Rhodes, Isabelle and Alexandra Lanier; and brothers, Rick and Danny Lawson.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. The service will begin at 3 pm with Gary Gerhardt officiating.
