Teresa Sue Giesler Smith, 59, of Piney Flats, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 26, 2013.
Teresa was a native of Johnson City and the daughter of Bessie Giesler and the late G. B. Giesler.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Mench.
Teresa is survived by her son, Moses Rodgers and wife Christi of Kingsport; brother, Kenneth Giesler and wife Connie of Johnson City; sister, Carol Overstreet of Bluff City; three grandchildren, Cassie Rodgers and husband Landon, Abby Rodgers, and Kaylee Rodgers, all of Kingsport; two great grandchildren Xander and Xoe Rodgers, both of Kingsport; and many nieces and nephews; and one special niece, Debbie Bowman.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Greg Lovelace officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Moses Rodgers, Greg Page, Kenneth Giesler, Tony Laws, Landon Rodgers, and Randy Laughton.
