Terry Cravens, 59, Gray, TN, died Friday May 29, 2009 at his home.
Born in Kingsport, Terry lived in Fall Branch most of his life and was a retired truck driver. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Eugene Cravens.
Surviving are his loving wife and best friend, Mary Louise Cravens, Gray; sons, Terry Chris Cravens and wife, Tracy, Johnson City, Larry Brett Cravens and wife, Michelle, Jonesborough, Barcy Cravens, Fall Branch, and Dusty Cravens and wife, Deana, Washington; mother, Erma Cravens, Gray; brother, Larry Cravens and wife, Judy, Rogersville; step-children, Samuel Glenn Booker, Johnson City, Norma Tootie Ferguson, Fall Branch, and Jim Rhymer, Bristol, VA; and grandchildren, Samantha, Alexis Lexy, and Madison; special aunt, Delta Buckingham; nieces, Amy and Maria; and uncles, Darrell and Dale Fitzgerald.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Services will be at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Darin Harrison officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Relatives and friends desiring to go in procession to the cemetery should meet at the Fall Branch Chapel by 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
