Terry A. Shaw

Terry A. Shaw, 64, of Limestone, died Wednesday evening, October 9, 2013 at Johnson City Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Washington County. Terry had received a B.S. Degree from ETSU and Physical Therapy Registration from the University of Tennessee. He retired from Physical Therapy after many years of service. Terry attended Cherry Hill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Pauline Shaw; sister, Jewell Cooper; and three brothers, Donnie, Ronnie and Stanley Shaw.

Terry is survived by his wife, Brenda Shaw of the home; daughter, Angela Shaw Clark and husband, Mike of Elizabethton; son, Jeffrey Shaw and wife, Mindy of Spartanburg, SC; two step-daughters, Kristy Baker of Jonesborough and Patricia Miller of Gray; stepson, Jerry Miller; several step-grandchildren; two brothers, Doug Shaw and wife, Dian, and Max Shaw, all of Limestone; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch with Pastor Steve Wilson officiating. Burial will follow the service in Highland Church Cemetery in Gray.

Pallbearers will be Brad Shaw, Christopher Shaw, Josh Riner, Shane Riner, Gary Adkins, and Tony Page. Jerry Miller will be an Honorary Pallbearer.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Johnson City Medical Center for their exceptional support and care.
