Thelma "Kate" Osborne

Thelma G. "Kate" Osborne, 92, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 2, 2009 at the Wexford House.

Mrs. Osborne was a member of Glen Alpine United Methodist Church where she was active in UMW and had served on various committees, her favorite being the decorating committee.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Carl "Slim" Osborne; parents, Arthur and Nettie Morelock; and one brother, Reeva Morelock.

Surviving are one brother, Dean Morelock and wife Jackie, Kingsport; sister-in-law, Gertrude Morelock, Kingsport; niece, Judy Morelock; four nephews, Charles Morelock, Allen Morelock, Denny Morelock and Shannon Morelock.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at Glen Alpine United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 pm with Dr. Kenneth W. LaDuke officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the Wexford House, to the staff of Amedisys Hospice and to two special friends, Della Williams and Grace Crawford.
