Thomas (Pete) D. Duncan

Thomas (Pete) D. Duncan Jr., of Kingsport, passed away, Sunday, January 26, 2020, following a brief illness. Born in Richlands, VA, Pete had resided in Kingsport for the past 8 years. He was a district manager for Superior Carriers prior to his retirement. Pete was a veteran in the U.S. Army, serving in Germany. Pete was an avid golfer, member of the Corvette Club, Nascar enthusiast, and lover of animals, especially his cat Molly. Pete was loved by many and especially his wife of 52 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas D. Duncan, Sr.; and mother, Barbara E. Ringstaff; step-mother, Kate M. Duncan; and sister, Alma D. Stevenson.

Pete is survived by his wife, Nancy Pectol Duncan, of the home; one brother, Jim Duncan and Carolyn of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
