Thomas McBride

Thomas McBride, 77, of Kingsport, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning December 13, 2015 surrounded by family. Tom was the loving son of Don and Frances "Goggie" McBride. He lived a wonderful and full life. Tom was an animal lover and had many unique pets during his life. He was a man of faith and a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church where on Sunday mornings you could find him singing in the choir. He retired as a Tennessee State Trooper and had owned many businesses throughout his life.Tom was also a sports fan with his favorite team being the University of Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Charlotte McBride, Kingsport, TN; three daughters, Kelly Watson and husband, Roger, Las Vegas, NV; Gina Eslinger and husband, James, Kingsport, TN; and Jama Trent and husband, Keith, Gray, TN; two sons, Scott McBride and wife, Jackie, and Tony Hoyles, Kingsport, TN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he loved very much; sister, Donna Allison and husband Walter, OK; brother Don McBride and wife Marilyn, OK; several nieces and nephews; and many friends and D-10.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4-5:00 pm at Bethany Presbyterian Church. A Celebration of Life will follow at 5:00 pm with Pastor Chuck Echols officiating.
