Thomas Phillips

Thomas Phillips, 86, of Bristol, TN, went home to be with his Lord on October 20, 2009. He was an incredible friend and a wonderful grandpaw. He was a friend to everyone he met, and he had no enemies.

Tom is survived by his fiance, Ms. Fletcher; daughters, Lori Burton and Melinda Quillin and husband Don; grandchildren, Rachael Ross and husband Eric, Renea Jessee and husband Dustin, Rebekah Quillin, Rion Gilliam, and Elijah Burton; great-grandchildren, Clay Ross, Dawson Thomas Jessee, and Rylee Walter Scott Burton; and special nieces, Nancy Guthrie and Scarlett North.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor J.W. Depew officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Temple Hill Cemetery with millitary rites by V.F.W. Post #4933.
