Thomas "Tom" Lane

Thomas "Tom" Lane, Kingsport, 73 passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center following a brief illness. He had retired from Snap-On Tools. Tom was an active volunteer at the Exchange Place and with the Quilts of Valor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Margaret Lane.

Tom is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan Plutchak Lane; 2 sisters, Nancy Wick and husband, David, and Janet Dolnik; brother, Gary Lane; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Exchange Place from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
