Tiffany Ann Compton, 17, of Beech Creek Community, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 20, 2010, after sustaining injuries in an automobile accident. She was a junior at Cherokee High School, Rogersville, TN. Tiffany loved country life and her horse, Patches. She worked at Hardee's Restaurant, Rogersville. She loved life and was considered a daredevil by her family. Tiffany enjoyed riding her horse and mudding on her 4-wheeler with her friends. She had a wonderful heart, and loved and was loved by everyone she met. She will be dearly missed by all. "We love and miss you already, Tiffy."
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Walter Gooch; her paternal grandparents, Vernie and Norman Compton; an aunt, Debbie Gooch; and a very special cousin, Ashley Webb.
She is survived by her parents, Randall and Rebecca Compton; sisters Shandeeda Compton and fiancé, Levi Love, and Jessica Compton; brother Chris Allen; grandmother Bobbie Gooch; nephews Ryan Pauley and Xavier Pauley; nieces Lexi Pauley, Chloey Love, Kaitlin Allen, Jaislin Allen; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; best friends Jodi, Sarah, Sam, Hunter, Hali, Lauren, Wes, Deborah; and many, many other friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church on Beech Creek Road, with Pastor Charles Kilborne and Pastor Pete Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
