Tim Morrison

Tim Morrison, 55, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Parkwest Medical Center.  Tim was a lifelong resident of Kingsport.  He co-owned and operated Morrison’s Construction for 40 years with his partner and brother, Dave Morrison.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Linda Morrison, and brother, Johnny Morrison.

Tim is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jennifer Morrison; 2 sons, Tim “Bo” Morrison, and Kevin Hawkins and wife, Chaysen; daughter, Ashely Hawkins; 5 grandchildren, Eli, Skylar, Bentley, Jazzy and Kensi; sister, Becky “Sis” Flanary and husband, Wesley; brother, Dave Morrison and wife, Donna; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Bro. Pat Hammonds and Bro. Ed McClain officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Hawkins, Timothy Morrison, Josh Woods, Josh Morrison, Martin Matthews, C.J. Wells, Brandon Robinson, Clifford Matthews, and Tim Thacker.
