Timothy W. Hensley

Timothy W. Hensley, 44, Kingsport, soared on the wings of angels to God on Sunday November 1, 2009 following a massive coronary.

Born in Erwin, TN, he had resided in Kingsport for the past ten years. He had served in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Marines, serving in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm and receiving many honors. He served his country proudly and his service was appreciated.

He is loved and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Atlas Miller Hensley; brothers, Gary Hensley and Darrell Hensley; and infant sister.

Surviving are his life partner, Kim Berley LeRoy, Kingsport; daughters, Jordon Hensley, Johnson City and Sarah LeRoy, Kingsport; sons, Derrick Hensley, Johnson City, Benjamin LeRoy, and Andrew LeRoy, both of San Diego, CA; three grandchildren, Cameron Hensley, Macee Hensley, and Makiah Hensley; brothers, Bill Hensley and wife, Vinda, Jonesborough, and Russell Hensley and wife, Pat, Elizabethton; and sister-in-law, Kat Hensley, Norfolk, VA.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery with the V.A. Chaplin officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 3/265.
