Timothy Lee "Tiny" Hutson

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him” -1 Corinthians 2:9

Timothy Lee “Tiny” Hutson, age 53, was called to his glorious home on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Tiny is walking streets of gold, singing, shouting and praising the Lord.  He grew up in Bloomingdale and was a 1985 graduate of Sullivan North.  Tiny served 21 years in the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office in corrections, where he was a mentor to many.  He led by example and was a positive role model to all.

He was a member of Central Assembly of God, where his Papaw Jones baptized him at the age of 7. Tiny loved the Lord and his Papaw with all his heart.
He joined his grandparents, Eldridge and Nora Jones, and Kyle and Vona Hutson; aunt, Jan Whitaker; and uncle, Chris Hutson.

Tiny is survived by the love of his life, Ellen Jones Hutson; adored parents, Maysel and Roy Hutson; son, Jayson Jones; grandson (who was his pride and joy) Zayden Jones; brothers, Mike and David Hutson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon and Leon Shaver; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his feline fur monsters, Silvy and Cloy.

Visitation will be from 12-2:00 pm on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Central Assembly of God, 1801 McGee St., Kingsport.  A Homegoing Celebration will follow with Rev. Phil Kestner officiating.  Anyone who would like to share stories about Tiny is welcome to so do.
