Tincie L. Collins Wheat

Tincie L. Collins Wheat, 87, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 28, 2019, following an extended illness. Born in Scotty County, Virginia, Mrs. Wheat had lived most of her life in Kingsport. Mrs. Wheat had served as a babysitter for much of her life. She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and had also worked there for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by five sisters, and two brothers.

Mrs. Wheat is survived by her daughter, Beth Wilson and husband Mike; two sons, Lesley Paul Wheat and wife Denise, and Ricky Gregory Wheat and wife Debbie; five grandchildren, Lilly, McCoy, Megan, Kurtis, and Becky; four great-grandchildren, Andi, Heather, Wyatt, and Hunter; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Martin Stokes officiating.

Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be family.
