Tom Frank

Thomas K. Frank, 86, of Gate City, VA, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness.

Born in Scott County, VA on March 2, 1928, a son of the late Jim and Dallie Gilliam Frank, he has resided in this area his entire life.

He was a farmer and a veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Frank and Louie Frank and by three sisters, Rose Kent, Mary Ciccarello and Elizabeth Whittington.

Survivors include his sister, Patsy Justice of Kingsport; brother-in-law, Eddie Whittington of West Virginia; special niece, Tonda Graham and husband, Troy of Bristol, TN and several additional nieces and nephews.

Military honors will be accorded at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN.
