Tommy Lee Curry
Tommy Lee Curry 51, of Kingsport entered into rest Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol following a courageous battle with cancer.
A native of Asheville, North Carolina, he had made his home in Kingsport for the last 17 years. T.C. was an electrician and really loved fishing and bike riding with his son. He was a hard worker and a devoted husband, father, and son.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Parton and brother, Keith Curry.
Surviving are his wife, Teresa Parker of Kingsport; one son, Jordan Lee Curry of Kingsport; two stepsons, Brian Parker and fiancée Cindy of Kingsport, and Brandon Parker also of Kingsport; his father, David Curry of Asheville, NC; and one brother, Mike Curry and wife Barbara of Asheville.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, with Pastor Mike Owens officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
