Tony Haskel Archer

Tony H. Archer, 79, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 12, 2019 at his home.  He was a lifelong resident of Washington County and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Tony retired from J.P. Stevens and was a member of Logans Chapel United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Jo Gladys Archer; and two brothers, Billy and Gene.

Tony is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Archer; one daughter, Christy Parks and husband, Chris; two grandchildren, Mackenzie Winstead and husband, Cody; and Austin Parks; one brother, David Archer; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m with Rev. Scott Cunningham officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 11:00 am at Logans Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with military honors to be conducted by the American Legion 3/265.

Pallbearers will be Chris Parks, Austin Parks, Cody Winstead, Steve Hite, Jeff Cox and Chris Jackson.  Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Logans Chapel United Methodist Church.
