Tony Blakley

Anthony Mack "Tony" Blakley, 51, of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 1, 2018, at his residence. Born in Sullivan County on November 21, 1966, a son of Enos Blakley of Kingsport and the late Shirley Bennett Blakley, he had resided in this area his entire life. Tony was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He graduated from Sullivan North High School in 1986. Tony attended Harvest Community Church. He enjoyed car racing, riding motorcycles, refinishing furniture, and he dearly loved his boys.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Bennett Blakley; brother, Ricky Ramey; and niece, Nikke Ramey.

Tony is survived by his sons, Hunter Blakley and wife Ashley of Kingsport, and Ben Blakley; the mother of children Vicki Austin of Fall Branch; father, Enos Blakley of Kingsport; brother, Robby Blakley and wife Ronda of Kingsport; niece, Logan Blakley; nephews, Cody Blakley, Travis Ramey; special cousins, Artie Blakley and Tammy Lawson; and others.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Closing prayer and words by Pastor Joe Shelton.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by The American Legion, Hammond Posts #3 and Gate City Post #265.

Pallbearers will be Ben Blakley, Hunter Blakley, Robby Blakley, Cody Blakley, Travis Ramey, Artie Blakley, Scott Rogers, Floyd Loveday and Dale Berry.

Those attending committal services are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 9:45 am Friday.
