Tony Douglas Fugate

Tony Douglas Fugate, 56, of Kingsport, went to be with his Heavenly Father at his home on April 23, 2018 following a lengthy illness. Tony was born and lived in Kingsport. He was a former employee of Sullivan County School System, Ridgefield Country Club and Finger Hut Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ransom Ketron; grandmother, Martha Fugate; grandfather, George Fugate; brother, Dwight Fugate; sister, Patty Fugate Hicks; sister-in-law, Joyce Trent; uncles and aunts, Mack and Mable Hickman, J.B. Fugate and Jimmy Fugate; and special best friend, Karen "Buzz" McClain.

Tony is survived by his loving mother, Margie Ruth Ketron; brother, Gary Trent; sisters, Gabbie Necessary, Kathy Crawford (Bobby), Mickey Ketron, Linda "Peanut" Prater (Matt), Buffy Rowland (Brandon), and Norma Jean "Snookie" Manis; uncles and aunts, Donnie and Carolyn Fugate, Darlene Fugate and JoAnn Fugate; several nieces and nephews; special niece and nephew who he love dearly and were his life, Madison Morelock and Layton Crawford and Austin "Otis" Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 pm on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport and anytime at the home of his sister, Linda "Peanut" Prater at 5917 Roseberry Rd, Kingsport, TN 37660.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with Rev. Cecil Necessary officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Austin "Otis" Johnson, Brandon Rowland, Cecil "Punkin" Necessary, Adam Fugate, Sal Perrone, Jonathan Morelock, Doug Fugate and Chris Fugate. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Barrett and Devon Rowland.
