Tony Raco

Tony Raco, 56, of Catania, Italy, died on Saturday, March 9, 2019.  Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was a graduate of Classic High School. Tony retired from the U.S. Navy in 2003 after 22 years of service.  Tony continued his work as a civilian working for NCIS.  He was a very loving husband, father and brother. Tony was an avid reader and enjoyed the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Marie Raco, and sister, Georgianna Hulshof.

Tony is survived by his wife, Liliana D’amico of Catania, Italy; 2 daughters, Elena Raco and Martina Raco, both of Catonia, Italy; sister, Debra Raco Vernotzy of Fresno, California; brother, Samuel Albert Raco of Palm Coast, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 14, 2019 at St. Dominic's Catholic Church.
