Tony Phil Sampson

Tony Phil Sampson, 63, of Fall Branch, the Lord called him home on April 29, 2009 at his residence with his family by his side, following a brief illness.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and special friend who loved his church and church family.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents Burton Jay and Ella Jean Sampson.

Tony is survived by his wife of 25 years, Darlene Sampson of Fall Branch; daughters, Rhonda R. Helton of Kingsport, Tracey Sampson and fiancé Bruce Collins of Morganton, GA, and Jennifer Thacker and husband Chris of Dandridge, TN; son, Stacey Sampson and wife Cristy of Fall Branch; grandchildren, Sydney and Rachel Helton, Brandi, Derek, and Dylan Jarnagin, Evan Collins, Austin Hawkins, Kim McCallister and Sammy Crow; and the mother of his children, Kathy Porter of Morganton, GA.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 1st, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Fellowship of Fall Branch.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Fellowship of Fall Branch with Pastors Harold Morelock and Ronnie Baxter officiating. Graveside services will follow at Logan's Chapel Cemetery.
