Tony Clemet Shelton

Tony Clemet Shelton, 55, of Kingsport, entered into rest Sunday, January 26, 2014, after a battle with lung cancer. He graduated from Sullivan West High School.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Clemet and Lucille Shelton and an infant granddaughter, Carter Adele Stanley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam; daughter, Michelle Stanley and husband, Brad; granddaughter, Paisley Stanley; son, Tony Shelton II, all of Kingsport; one step-daughter, Amy Gillenwater and husband, Jeremiah; grandson, Noah Gillenwater of Gate City, VA; one step-son, Trevor Addington of Big Stone Gap, VA; brother, John Shelton and wife, Amy, of Kingsport; sister, Isabel Conley of Johnson City; and three nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Mark Sexton officiating.

The graveside service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Mullins Cemetery, Kingsport.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for medical and funeral expenses.
