Travis Frazier, 40, Murfreesboro, formerly of Kingsport and Johnson City, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a graduate of Sullivan South High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Travis was a former co-owner of Frazier Custom Built Homes. While in the Army he completed Airborne training and Ranger school at Fort Benning, GA. He also was part of the Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. Travis was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, TN.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Frazier; grandparents, Clyde and Gertrude Phillips; and uncle, Ted Frazier, Sr.
Travis is survived by his parents, Dan and Alice Frazier; sister, Shelley Walker and husband, David "Bart"; niece, Audrey Walker; nephew, Josiah Walker, all of Murfreesboro; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 28th from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm with David "Bart" Walker officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, June 29th at 1:00 pm at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Posts 3/265 who will also serve as pallbearers.
