Treva Jones

Treva Jones, 96, Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Treva was a lifelong resident of the area. Treva's life was spent in giving to others, especially with her great gift of cooking. A beautiful and loving woman who prayed each night for God to find someone she could help. Her greatest love was her family, and especially her sister, Helen Jones, who has shared their home and daily life for more than 20 years and taken such good care of each other. She was a member of Lovelace Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bill Jones; and 3 brothers, W.R. Cecil, and Hartsel Carr.

Treva is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra Baker-Hinton, and Susan Kinley; 2 sons, Gary Jones and John Michael Jones; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Glenda Roberts; sister-in-law, Helen Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Allen Brummett officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Sunday at 12:00 pm at Lovelace Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
