Troy Lee Moody

Troy Lee Moody, 82, of Fall Branch, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. He proudly served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. During his service he was a POW.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bessie Moody; three precious grandsons, Tristen, Jordan and Dawson Moody; and brothers and a sister.

Troy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Moody; two daughters, Tammy Moody Tolbert and husband, George, and Lisa Crawford; two sons, Timothy Moody and wife, Debbie, and Jim Moody and wife, Robin; brother, Beryl Moody; sister, Lovenia Light and husband, Delmar; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Travis; several nieces and nephews; special sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law; and close to his heart, his special friend, Wayne Boswell.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 4th from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 7:00 pm with Rev. Michael Malone and Steve Payne, Minister, officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 5th at 12:00 pm at Fall Branch Church of Christ Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Posts 3/265. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
