Troy Steadman

Troy "Fred" Steadman, 52, Rogersville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Fred was a graduate of Cherokee High School. He was an avid NASCAR and football fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Steadman and brother, Mark Steadman.

Fred is survived by sister, Cindy Fields and husband, Dennis; brother, Rick Light and wife, Sandra; niece, Tonya Fields; 4 nephews, Mark, Riley and Kanon Falin, and Mykael Hall; and special friends, Pat, Peggy, Nicky, Donna and Ronnie.

Special thanks for the care given for Troy by Jennifer McKeown and the staff of Signature Heathcare of Rogersville, ETSU Family Physicians of Kingsport, ICU staff of Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, and to Dr. Baumrucker and staff on W3.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Chaplain Greg Graybeal officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Morrison Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
