Tyra Denean Rowland

Tyra Denean Rowland, 53, of Kingsport, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on April 3, 1966. A graduate of Sullivan South High School, she had worked at Citi Bank for 26 years. She enjoyed volunteering for the Special Olympics and other various organizations through her work.  Above all, Tyra was loving, compassionate, and devoted to her family and her God Children, they were her world!  She is deeply missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Barron.

Tyra is survived by her father and his wife, Eddie and Elsie Rowland; her brothers and sister, Farron and wife, Sherri Rowland , Nikki Patrick, and Derek and wife, Kasey Duncan; her nieces and nephews, Cody and Shayne Rowland, Kaelyn, Keaton, and Avery Duncan, Travis and Andy Gray; very close family friends, Justin and Beck Hill and their children, her God Children, Kaydence, Lillie, and Braylin.

Tyra's celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Parkers Chapel Fellowship Hall, 425 Parker Dr.. Kingsport TN, on Saturday February 29, 2020.
