Virginia Florence Beaman, 89, passed away at Greystone Health Care, Saturday, May 31, 2014, with her family by her side.
Virginia was born in Sullivan County to John Henry and Belle Johnston, August 16, 1924. Then she met and married Eldridge Clinton Beaman and by age 21, they had 4 little girls.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Johnson and step-mother Tootsie; mother, Belle Winigar Young; brother, Jimmy Johnston; sister Pearl Johnston; husband, Eldridge Clinton Beaman; and three daughters, Barbara Blakley, Patsy Holmes, and Nancy Ferguson.
Left to cherish her memories are daughter, Rita Jobe and husband Donald; Son-in-law, Bobby Blakley; seven grandchildren, Sheri Holmes and dear friend Leslie Martinez, Dennis Holmes and Cindy, Tony Blakley and Gail, Tammy Roberts and Eric, Dawn Smith and Chad, Clint Jobe and Kimberly, and Kim Bledsoe and Ronnie; 17 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, and other times at the home of Rita Jobe. Funeral Services will immediately follow with Dr. Phil Hoskins officiating.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, 11:00am, at Rock Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Donald Jobe, Bobby Blakley, Clint Jobe, Dennis Holmes, Tony Blakley, and Barry McDavid.
